Who stood out v. Jets?
|
Offense -
Bortles to Arob looks unstoppable. Yeldon and Ivory are also going to make a nice combo. We have great WR depth as well. TE should be solid Bowman looked good in the move TE flat role and JT did have a drop but overall looked extremely athletic. THe o-line looked good in the running game vs a fairly stout jets starting unit and pass protection was somewhere between meh and average for the starters. We do severly lack any kind of depth there though as the backup units we really bad. Joeckel actually had a key block on the ivory TD he really moved his man and showed some strength i didnt think he had on a couple other blocks as well. Shoutouts : Lee looked feisty and made a really nice "go get it" catch over a defender. Drob looked good and showed some good vision as well as toughness. Defense Starting unit really needs Gipson back there as we were gashed on big plays back to back right where he would have been. Fowler looked a bit lost but did make a couple good run stops. Yannick beat his man for a nice sack and Malik Jackson appears to be money well spent. In the secondary we are seeing more of the blitzes from late last year and its working quite well. Amukamara wasnt tested which is a good sign. Cyp didnt have any glaring misses and actually seemed to do well in the box from a coverage standpoint. At LB Telvin made a couple plays but also seemed to fall for a play fake too. The big deal was Jack who seemed to start a bit out of sync but quickly made his presence felt. Multiple big hits , a nice run stop and he made a WR alligator arm a pass so we saw some of that intimidation factor. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
