As a New Mexican, what's your legal name? (don't worry I don't really care - it is a rhetorical premise-- Do not post your name, I won't post mine)

 

With that said, think about your family's history....

 

Did your family follow El Camino Real? (This is a real question.  And if you do not know, do you at least undestand the significance of this path?) 

 

If you understand about this trail, I'm not sure why you worry about legality of names...  Your name, for instance was probably conquered by someone that cleansed your family. There are historical records that show that migrations, settlements, re-migrations, uprisings, conquerings, uprisings, conflicts, stalemates, conflicts, uprisings, treaties, conflicts, control, uprisings, etc.... Happened for decades prior to western civilization even entering into the southwest. 

 

But yeah, I'm sure it's really important for you to understand the surname.  I think you've lost your identity, JIB.  I think you need to come back home and see a sunset that reflects off the Sandias.

 

But I'm sure that really isn't what your talking about because you don't honestly care about surnames.

 

I care for you, man.  I hope you can realize that things are pretty OK, even if you don't like how they are turning out for your "side".  I just want you to try and remember that your "side" is over here in the desert.  And we're actually doing OK.  And I think we'd be doing alot better without that racist trump that's trying to divide all of us against eachother.  I don't like the Clintons either.  But we can defeat the Clintons together.  With trump as president, there's no turning back.  That's my fear.  And that's the fear all of the New Mexicans I talk to on the daily.
