The zone coverage was too shallow. Peyton jumped ahead on to the running back when he should have stayed where he was or pushed back. Telvin was not in a good spot and I think Peyton's depth caused him to take a few false steps in. Also the route was ran pretty well.


These things will happen but its a bit annoying as this whole "stand still in zone" coverage last year drove me mad. Wash says one of the key element he's trying to drive home is reaction within the zone to receivers. Perhaps this is what Peyton is trying to do?
