Milwaukee officials plead for calm after unrest wracks city

Quote:How can it be an individual right if it needs a modern society? Great question! The reason I qualify it as within this modern age is because I think healthcare, in the 18th and 19th century, the medical feild and outcomes was not as advanced as it is now. With the advancement of medicine, quality of life outcomes have increased dramatically. Our rights to life, liberty, and happiness would include this access to improved quality of life. Things have progressed since the 1700s, technology advances. Demands of the society evolve. Healthcare I think becomes a right just as public education is now a right. Most 1st world countries realize this now. |
