It's not the waste and abuse that's the problem, it's the corruption of politicians that allow certain waste to continue.

To me, it means that the solution is to remove the corruption. The first step is to get the money out of politics.


That's just where I'm coming from. This is a bipartisan issue, in my opinion.

 

I definitely agree it is bipartisan. Corruption breeds FWA, and FWA breeds corruption. Its a systemic issue and the nations most deadly illness. The GAO may be capturing and halting bits and pieces of the problem, but they alone will never be able to cure this level of disease. There needs to be a massive shakeup of the establishment politics that have been rotting the foundation. I am sure we will disagree on what needs to be corrected, or re-asserted back into the foundation, but maybe we can at least agree something needs to change or our future will be filled with unprecedented levels of cronyism and collusion.
