I have to say that this feeds into the conspiracy theory that the whole thing is a catalyst for a war on guns.  this entire interview only has to do with Bernie Sanders (interesting because she is participating in anti-Bernie propaganda WE KNOW CNN participated in).  all the things she is saying seem like anti-gun talking points we have heard before.  so it does feed into the conspiracy that she is a paid shill to pretend that her mother died and to pursue an anti-gun agenda.
