The first 2-party election in decades
|
Quote:Our equity and 401k increased by over $500k over the past 4 years. Why would I want to change the path we are on? I'm amazed that people didn't take advantage of a housing market and investment market that hit rock bottom in 2010. At that time, when the banks and auto market were being bailed out, the Dow bottomed out at 6,000; it's now at a record high of over 18,000 (a 200% increase). Wall-street is a terrible gauge of the economies health. I am sure people struggling to make their rent and auto payments are thrilled to see the DOW at 18k. Meanwhile, wages have stagnated for decades, labor participation rate is at its lowest in decades, home ownership is at its lowest in decades, food stamp utilization has skyrocketed, overall poverty has increased massively, and collegiate education cost more than ever. But hey, at least the investment class, Hillary's favorite class, is doing well. |
