I'll let you in on a little secret.  Most Judaeo-Christian religions teach the same thing.  I suspect that the Muslim religion as well as the Jewish religion have similar teachings.

 

For the record, I'm not affiliated in any way with any of the above religions, but I am quite familiar with all of them.  I don't want to turn this into a religious discussion, rather my focus is on your claim that the institution involved is a "bigoted" or "hateful" group.  Please show us an example of that.

 

By the way... please explain what a "text based conversion" is.  You know, since you are college educated and all.

 

it's because this particular church has a well-known interim pastor who has been "anti-gay"

 

the things he says I would not want my pastor saying.  HOWEVER, he is just an interim pastor.  the gift was given to the CHURCH, not the pastor.  Interim pastors, and usually not even full-time pastors, have access to church funds.  churches are usually run by a board who do the hiring, firing, and management.

 

fact is, this church is involved in relief for their community.  i think Anchorman already admitted he was wrong about it.  no need to beat the dead horse.
