The Dallas cops being killed is not past history yet. That was very recent.


I'm over Pearl Harbor and the Cuban Missile Crisis.


 

I'd be over 9/11 if it weren't for the group who did it still making such attacks.


 

Are black people being killed by cops? Yes. So are white people. Among those arrested for violent crimes, whites are killed by police at nearly twice the rate of blacks. There are definitely bad cops who feel entitled to kill as a first recourse, but the problem is not merely racial.


 

Unfortunately, I see no solution to that. We need cops, and we're never going to be perfect in vetting them.
