To add to this, the root cause is two fold.


1. Our entire economy runs on oil, which now heavily influences our politics.

2. The military industry is now so powerful, and has become so privatized, that the trail is now wagging the dog.


What's worse is that these two industries now compliment each other at a nexus that intersects in the middle East.


This means that until we get off oil and drastically cut military funding these situations that make private military corporations rich while also destabilizing oil rich counties, which benefits the oil corporations, will continue no matter who the President is.
