Wow, a lot of opinions expressed and all I was trying to say was....Let's get to football and leave social commentary out of the stadium.

 

But since some people bring it up.....It would seem to me that these players that are so motivated to express their concern about the state of "social inequality" in the United States......would do well to go to the neighborhoods and lead by their own example and contribution to the community.

 

Succesful athletes are in a great position to show these kids you don't have to rob,steal or

be a thug or gang member to be a success. 

I'm impressed by many of our Jaguars that are doing just that. Using their own success to help others.

 

What's the old saying...."Give a man a fish   and he'll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime."

There's a difference in a handout..... and a "helping hand."
