Iraq invasion was an invasion of a nation-state to remove a dictator and forcibly install democracy. ISIS isn't a nation-state. It is a terror organization that is currently combating the Syrian and Iraqi governments. ISIS doesnt have a claim on any land. They don't have officially recognized borders. If Iraq refuses to let us guard the oil reserves after removing ISIS, then we bugger off and let them collapse (again).
