This team does not have a 3-4 personnel. If we *did* make the switch, Telvin would be the odd-man out, which is nuts considering he's the least of the problems when it comes to our linebackers. Fowler can probably transition to OLB on a 3-4 (though coverage responsibilities will be a question mark), and as I said, Skuta would be the other fit at 3-4 OLB. It makes no sense to do this and take Telvin off the field.

We literally have Odrick who was an outside end in 3-4, Malik who played some two gap end in Denver, a nose in Miller, Yannick, Fowler and Skuta can rotate at outside backer, Telvin, Jack, Poz and Skuta can rotate at inside backer.


You keep telling yourself we can't. We are playing a defense that is half the 3-4 and half 4-3. We will disagree on Telvin ability to play ilb. I think he can and his speed would be an asset in the middle of the field. Poz played in a 3-4 in buffalo if for not 5 years than 4...


He's old anyway. I wouldn't design the scheme around his skill set. He would either take his role or get gone.
