20 of Bortles' 89 passes haven't crossed line of scrimmage and 40 (44.9 percent) haven't gone past 5 yard...

Teams have figured the Blake to Robinson jump ball out. It worked for mega yards last season but may have lulled us into complacency. Blake is having a hard time actually pin pointing passes, his long ball is often a yard too far, his slants behind receivers, he has not been good despite the garbage time numbers. Lee has regressed, Thomas fades after a big shot, Lewis is now good for 3 catches a game maximum. With no running game, a lot is riding on AR, Hurns, and Blake and last year the two Allens would catch it no matter where it was thrown. Well the defense has watched film and those same balls are being swatted down now. We Need good coaching to get faster smaller players in the game as a change up, and options to get Robinson and Hurns open such as starting him at TE or RB, whatever it takes to get a better matchup for these two. Forget Lee! He is a waste out there, as are the screens to Yeldon who can't break an open field tackle if his life depended on it.

The coaches are still relying on last years passing success, a mark of a bad coach, instead of recognizing the Allen and Allen jump ball routine has been figured out. Blake has got to learn to pin point pass now on solid route running, and encourage him to improvise with his feet, he is a big man, if we need 3 yards his legs should the second option. Typical Jags though, not using players correctly and relying on past success. That's why we fix one thing another issue comes up, we have never constantly changed to keep teams off balance. Throwing it up for Robinson grabs worked last year, so we expected it to work this year. Well it might if it wasn't tried on every 3rd down for Christ's sake. The other teams are not stupid. They watched our tendencies. I cannot say the same for our staff, we are always out coached.
