It is this. The ONLY players on this team who are playing like the know what is coming are Telvin and Poz. Poz has always done that and it looks like he taught Telvin. Some of the other players are sometimes making great reaction plays or showing off great awareness and athleticism. But no one else ever looks like like the read the play immediately and knew what was coming.

NFL teams and schemes are too complex and the game is too fast, if most of your players are taking that long to diagnose everything. Given that we had way too few veterans on this team to teach the Jaguars' core, that job should fall to the coaches. They just aren't doing it.

We hear how good most of these coaches are, then may be great technicians in the mechanics of how to play. But that is only the foundation, after that you need to be able to diagnosis and scheme and that has never happened under this regime.
