However, when I watch this team I am often asking myself why aren't our players consistently winning their individual match ups? One week it will be defense, the next it's offense, then another week the special teams unit isn't doing their job. With the level of inconsistency from week to to week for the past four years I'm having a hard time believing its just players not making plays, but then maybe I'm biased because I don't really care for Coach Gus Bradley.

Exactly -- If he's saying it's not the coaching, but rather the players, then he's indirectly blaming Dave Caldwell.
