Beachum is not a "very good" LT. He's o.k., but the standards we have here in Jacksonville for Left Tackles have been so low ever since Tony Boselli retired, that anything average or above gets certain fans overestimating their worth. Maybe I just have a higher standard for what I consider very good LT's. I reserve that designation for guys like Joe Thomas, Ryan Clady, Tyron Smith, Trent Williams, David Bakhtiari, Cordy Glenn, Joe Staley, Jared Veldheer and possibly Andrew Whitworth, although he isn't what he once was.
