Good offenses will beat you with the same 4 or 5 simple plays over and over again in the same drive.


Now that said - Of course the coaching gets plenty of blame (in my book anyway) for not preparing them to execute more consistently. There's no good reason why it's so hard for Blake to make the easy throws like quick slants and swing passes. He makes it look so hard when others make it look so easy. Have you ever seen him hit a RB in perfect stride on a swing pass where the back didn't have to adjust for the ball and alter his route? I can literally think of ONE time he nailed that pass. Once.

He's been a pro long enough to get coached up on that.


The run blocking is the other culprit of crappy execution, and I don't even know where to start pointing fingers on that one, but the coaches are definitely in the area.

It's crappy execution, but also running the ball up the middle non stop and then making it obvious that you're passing on 3rd sets you up for failure. There's just s lack of creativity with the plays. We never nickel and dime our way down the field, it's just either or. Huge plays for a TD or 3 and out.


Other offenses can do it all the time, it's infuriating. I think it falls on the coaches, the offense isn't being setup for success.
