When reading even two or three threads about the game Sunday Night, it was apparent that very few Jaguars fans that posted were looking for anything positive other than a coaching change. Two seasons ago, I think many more fans of the team would have been looking for silver linings than at present. It is sad that fans don't care about the silver linings less than 48 hours after a loss like that one. I miss the days when people were happy and talking about how good plays were made here and there, no severe injuries were suffered, etc. on the day after a game. My idea was to divert their attention from doom and gloom to seeing the silver linings. My mom gave me that advice after a vet told me my cat has only a few weeks left to live. Yes, all losses hurt, but people are able to think about the bright side if they want to. It is their choice if they don't want to think about Malik Jackson's sack, Allen Robinson's two TDs, our takeaways, and the lack of new injuries on our sideline, among other things.. |
