But seriously, I think it'll happen on Black Monday. To me, Bradley lost a lot of credibility with Khan with the way the team looked in San Diego. That was his first chance to show to Khan, Caldwell and the world that he had the team working in the right direction. It was an opponent that they had played every year and they should have been in McCoy's hip pocket the whole game. Didn't happen.

 

But, Khan is probably smart enough to see that firing a Header in the middle of the season doesn't really solve anything. That, and he doesn't seem to be the reactionary type.

 

Almost regardless of anything else that happens this season, I think that game is the one that cost Gus his job.

 

What bothered me the most in San Diego was Gus Bradley's answer to (paraphrase), "How do you plan to improve in the second half?" He replied, "They are playing as good as they can play. We just have to keep building off that." This immediately followed not a bad defensive effort but an apparent lack of one. It was the moment when I finally realized the talent level  in Jacksonville can't mask his mistakes anymore.

 

My opinion will not change until it happens. If we miss the playoffs, Gus Bradley will be punted January 2 . Only fans who never liked him have been calling for it to happen in the middle of the season.
