Again, just my observations. But as an outside observer, it's just weird to read this thread. It seems that Rashean and Solid are trying to explain their experience, and the conservatives are talking right past them.


Thanks for saying that. Most of all Americans have moved forward. A lot. Black and White and others. I firmly believe this.


I also believe open dialogue is key. So the fact that we can discuss this issue is very encouraging. At some point before the bombs drop, I would like to think that Americans will be Americans and cultural differences will be celebrated and not mocked and feared.


Can we accept that the .01% that makes us different should not overrule the simple truth that we are 99.99% the same?
