When suddenly outside, there arose such a clatter
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
 
There on the early morning news was Shad and Dave 
with an urgent announcement about a plan to save 
football in Jacksonville
- and it was bold and brave.
 
Hired from New England was Bill Belichick
with Tom Caughlin named club President.
Peyton Manning was hired as the Offensive Coach,
Dan Pees was hired as the defensive hope.
 
Bill spoke first, and said, "Look, we can win. You have a great roster, so let's begin."
Next was Payton who promised to pass in a scheme that was "... planned
for each and every game, not one that was canned."
Then can Dan, who promised to start Jalen Ramsey, Miles Jack, and Dante Fowler
in the #1 slots.
And then spoke Tom, who said, "It's great to be back. Next year we'll be winners, Division Champs
have a playoff run and be wearing Superbowl caps!"
 
I sunk into my chair thinking, "How can this be?"
Turning to look at my wife, she just smiled ear to ear.
And I thought, "Superbowl Champs... that'd be nice to hear.
With the sound of pads hitting, late in the year"
