 Just baffles me that so many lazy fans on here are just so quick to beat and bludgeon Bortles as if everything on this 0 - 3 start is completely on him. Just insane man.

I don't consider Bortles' numbers from last year. They mean pretty much nothing, except that he was able to inefficiently pile up stats while trailing. If we had all of the things that you wish he had surrounding him his numbers would have been pedestrian, as evidenced by his extremely average rate stats. 

 

Also, if you looked at my 'divvy up the blame pie' thread I started, I assigned 25% of the blame to Blake. I gave twice as much blame to the coaching staff. That is more than fair and not close to what you are accusing. 

 

If we are going to be contending we need Blake to not be 25% of the problem, we need him to be 25% of a "divvy up the credit pie" thread. AKA, not just back to where he was last year which I would say was more or less replacement level (this year obviously far below replacement level), but an equal jump forward.
