-A balanced offense that can run the ball effectively when needed (most of the time).

- A defense that is holding opponents to 2 FGs during an entire half of play.

- An offensive plan that let's the QB manage the game with alot of short, effective throws.

- A QB that doesn't turn the ball over frequently (because he is game managing)


That is what wins football games. People don't like it. They want a gunslinger with tons of deep passes and high octane.


But, the truth is that game managing QBs that don't turn it over, and that can lean on the run game and defense will win you the game most times.


I, for one, really liked the offensive gameplan most of the day.


Bortles was accurate with a lot of short stuff, roll-outs, and using his legs.


The deep stuff did not look that good. But, I really liked that they went aggressive against Cromartie when they noticed he couldn't hang with AROB. They kept going after him, and he kept getting penalties, lol.


Vontae Davis ended up covering AROB for most of the 2nd half.



I hope the Jags keep the same game plan as what they had today.
