Doing that will also help to neutralize pass rush as well. I think it was probably something the coaching staff pointed out about the defense. Defenses have been trying to cover the over the top stuff heavily so once the pass rush leaves a lane open if all the defenders are back trying to cover Arob and Hurns it should leave massive spaces open underneath, and in the first half it definitely did. I wouldn't count on that being continually open going forward. At some point Bortles is going to have to get back to throwing down the field successfully. |
