What is going on with OBJ?

Quote:I doubt our opinions are actually very far from one another's on the young man's abilities on the field, but I don't find his play to be worthy of the incredible amount of hype that surrounds him. Well you're obviously in New York haha, you should know first hand anyone that plays at a high level in that city is going to generate (deserved or undeserved) incredible hype, that's the nature of the beast. I think we'd be selling him a tad bit short if we said it wasn't deserved, i mean when was the last time a WR had the type of impact OBJ had as a rookie? You'll have to go back to Randy Moss, I'm not saying he's the next Moss or Rice, but the guy is an incredible talent, unfortunately he's (mentally) soft as silk panties. |
