But many of us have the ability to simultaneously root for him (and even have some optimism he'll succeed) while still acknowledging his deficiencies,  moments of poor play, and bad decisions. 

 

There aren't many QBs in the league that play near perfect football week in and week out.  So no one is expecting that from Blake. But he can't play like he did in week 2 and week 3 and expect to win.

 Wins won't happen often in this league when a QB makes that many errors. (no matter how good or bad his teammates perform)

 

There is nothing wrong with objectively analyzing his ups and downs.  I analyze his mistakes with hope he can fix them and the vast majority of them do seem fixable. Only time will tell.
