Jags Defense 6th in Total yards but still giving up a lot of points?

The yardage total is probably (most likely) pretty low because quite a few times this season the defense has started on a very short field.

If the offense gives up an INT or fumble in their own territory,, the opponent will likely score points (already in or near FG range), and the opponent doesn't have to drive for many yards.

All that counts against the Defense too.

Yeah we are also 6th in yards against per play. Realistically you can't be called a good defense when we give up that many points.

All that said there is an obvious improvement with slight adjustments and influx of talent.
