Jags Defense 6th in Total yards but still giving up a lot of points?

The yardage total is probably (most likely) pretty low because quite a few times this season the defense has started on a very short field.

If the offense gives up an INT or fumble in their own territory,, the opponent will likely score points (already in or near FG range), and the opponent doesn't have to drive for many yards.

All that counts against the Defense too.

Except the offense doesn't turn the ball over on every drive so the defense has done well defending the length of the field as well. We were 24th in defense last year. Now we're knocking on top 5. That's an accomplishment to be proud of.
