Yup, completely agree. My statement was mostly aimed towards the ppg given up.


Defense has done pretty well defending long fields too (yeah, the San Diego game was ugly all around; but the offenses continual 3andOuts and Turnovers continued greatly to that).


It fell apart in the 4th qtr against Indy too (aided by blown coverages and penalties).


However, 3 out 4 games this season the defense has put together some solid periods:


6 points allowed vs GB in 2nd half,

6 points allowed vs BAL in 2nd half,

6 points allowed vs IND in almost 3 full qtrs.


Also, they got that INT vs INDY giving Jags the ball DEEP in scoring territory.


Plus, a Fumble Recovery and an INT in scoring territory vs BAL.


Defense has been playing some really good football for a good portion of this season to date.
