I was assessing the O-Line's improvement. I've told you multiple times I'm a big supporter of Blake Bortles. You just need to learn to view his performance more objectively. 

 

Bortles has taken three or four sacks because he held the ball too long. That's usually because the opposing secondary was covering very well.

So - not really Blake's fault, but he absolutely must get better at deciding when to throw it away instead of taking the sack. He's young. He'll get better at that.  I feel pretty certain of it. No big deal, and not a harsh criticism. 

 

He's also run into a few sacks that also technically weren't really his fault either, but one can objectively look at the play and see where he might have moved elsewhere to evade pressure.

Overall - he has really good pocket awareness - he just has a lapse every now and then. It happens to good quarterbacks all the time. Again, not a major criticism. 

 

Stop being so offended and realize I'm rooting for the guy - not blaming everything on him. 

 

And, BTW, I am very, very far from misinformed. 

The reason why i am so offended by you and others comments on here because it like ya'll bring the same negativity containing to Blake everyday as if you want to be right about him as a player. Again, how many negative threads we got have on blake or better yet how many times we can discuss another situation containing to this team and ya'll turns it to a blake bashing section. I and others get it he's not playing well and the last thing i want to read on a daily basis is people rubbing my face in it. If you or anyone else wasn't sold on him predraft or is mad because he's not playing to the standards of someone like derek carr then i say get over it because he's our qb until otherwise and we should all want is for him to succeed for this franchise. My God the negativity concerning blake is suffocating and then people wonder why its hard to be a jag fan because some people on here constantly bash the man like like they have self-esteem or jealously issues. Let me say i apologize if i said anything in the past to offend you because that's not intention at all but reading these comments on blake on every thread can even make rational person insane. lol.
