I agree, he just doesn't have the bend to consistently win around the edge, so tackles can cheat on him so to speak knowing he can only beat them with inside moves. You really need a creative D-coordinator to maximize Fowler's gifts, his gift is athletic-versatility. He's a guy that needs to stand-up, drop in coverage, rush inside, rush outside etc..., he's a guy that offenses need to be able to "identify' on every snap, because he has the athleticism and violence to wreak havoc if used correctly. |
