The bills are playing much better football than we are, so the one's more likely to 'crash' are the Jags. I'm sorry, but I'm disinclined to view this team through 'teal colored glasses' after years of losing. I want this team to reach at least an 8-8 record this season. That was a realistic expectation and should have been achievable. Now, I'm not so hopeful of it; we're simply not playing very good football and only barely defeating relatively bad teams.

 

As much as I wish the Jags would reach at least 8-8 this season, I've lowered my expectation to something closer to maybe 5-11. I do this based on my observation of how we're currently performing and the given schedule we face. Yes, by later in the season the Jags should (at least theoretically) be playing better... but so will the other teams.

 

The probability is that we will split with the other teams in our division. We might beat the lions, and maybe even the raiders, but that's only 6 victories; I really don't see us beating anyone else, certainly not the vikings, broncos, bills, or chiefs. Our best hope at reaching at least 8-8 is going to be if we can sweep our own division. How likely do you think that is?
