What I would love to see is the ability to pay-per-view games live somehow.  Commercials really aren't that big of a deal to me as long as I don't miss any live game action.  I also think that the whole streaming on twitter thing for some of the Thursday night games needs to go.  I was irate when I couldn't watch one of the games earlier this season on NFL Network after purchasing a subscription for that.  In my opinion, the nationally televised games (Sunday Night, Monday Night and Thursday Night) should be broadcast on network television (along with the London games).

 

As it relates to politics and this particular thread, I don't think that networks should show the player "protests" during the National Anthem.  I do know that certainly doesn't help.
