NFL ratings decline article

Quote:The commercial breaks are terrible. From the point where a TD is scored (then a kickoff goes into the end zone for a touch back) to the point where the 1st play is run I timed it 2x and in the 1st case 5:10 elapsed and the other 5:26 elapsed. Over 5 freaking minutes of nothing after a team scores a TD You know it's ridiculous when you can flick through 4 games or so and all are on commercial breaks. But when there's no other game on it just makes it boring. The EPL makes crap loads of money and doesn't stop the game to show commercials. Why can't the NFL. The ridiculous catch rule followed by a never ending review makes you want to throw the remote at the TV. |
