LSU/Florida game rescheduled
|
The e-mails released from WBRZ's Investigative Unit shows some interesting tidbits.
According to LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva's e-mails: 1) LSU REALLY, really wanted to play the the game the weekend as originally planned, whether in Gainesville or anywhere else. They even referenced how easy it was for GA/SC to reschedule their game (and how much sense it made). According to Aleva, UF's schedule is super easy... even easier than Tennessee's... and if they wanted to play the game they would. 2) They TOO thought Florida was scared. Their theory, as many others in the football community, was that if Florida lost (which was a more likely than not outcome) they would have been out of the SEC Championship and Playoffs. 3) The SEC's decision was a joke.
New signature because HIGH SCORE found the periodic table offensive. Pathetic LOL
