At this point, it's appears Dave guessed wrong about Gus. He may very well have been the best option available at the time,
but he has proven to be pretty much a bust as a HC here. The season's not over, and it is still theoretically possible for things to get turned around dramatically, but the probability of it at this point is in serious doubt.
