Yes, Blake was missing throws. That is undeniable, but the O-Line was terrible as well! Not only couldn't they run block at all, but we might as well have taken them all off the field and used police tape to secure the O-Line. Blake would've gotten just as much protection. My question is this, if Blake has regressed this bad and he's unfixable, what do we do. This is a terrible year for drafting QB's. There simply isn't anything out there. I've watched Deshone Kizer and he's been abysmal and Deshaun Watson is not an NFL QB. He's one of those running QB's that looks great in college, but I don't believe he can adapt to a pro system. With that said, it leaves two other options. We could go all in on a free agent QB like Kirk Cousins or Mike Glennon (the only two free agent QB's worth making a run at) or we gamble on Brandon Allen starting. None of these sound like very good options to me.
