Bortles can't throw. Is he hurt? [MERGED]

Quote:Yeah I get what you're saying D6 I just can't understand the change in the second half though, I mean I know it was prevent d but he just looked so much better and more natural. Maybe like you say an injury that's he's just not willing to play through for Olson, but he is for himself.

I don't know, I just think whatever it is i hope it gets resolved.

Please promise me you beat the Texans this week D6!

One thing that probably should be looked at closely is why has the Jaguars Offense regressed so much this season,  compared to the 2015 season?   Greg Olson was the team's OC last season.   Blake Bortles made more than his share of mistakes but he made many more big plays.    For what it's worth,  Olson got more out of Joey Harrington than any Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach did during his time with the Lions.   Olson wasn't the team's OC long enough for me to conclude whether he was truly a long term solution.   But in the two seasons that he had limited opportunities to run the Offense,  he got good results comparably speaking to the others that had the same opportunities in those two seasons ( 2004 and 2005 ).

There's no question that the Jaguars top priority needs to be getting Blake Bortles back in the right direction.    This is not the same Bortles that I raved about his natural abilities in the two pre-season games the Lions and Jaguars played against each other in 2014 and 2015.

I wish I could promise you that the Lions will beat the Texans this weekend.    Injuries at CB,  particularly with Darius Slay likely out of the game with a hamstring injury,  are a potential major obstacle to victory.    Ideally though,  the game will come down to the play of the two starting QBs.    If that happens,  the Lions should win the game.    The Texans are 4-0 at home but the Lions are now playing with a great amount of confidence in crunch time because of 3 straight comeback 4th QTR wins.    My expectation is yet another close game for the Lions,  regardless of the outcome.     The previous 7 games were decided by 7 points or less.
