If the players have spoken, it's not a good look for them.  If you're a true professional at anything, you take pride in your work.  Even if you dislike or don't respect your boss, or coach in this instance, you still go out and do your job like you always have because of your own internal motivation and personal pride.  If you "give up" out of protest or some other reason, that says more about you than it does about your boss.  

 

This is as much on the players who had terrible performances as it is on the coaches.  Where is the player leadership on this team?  Where is the annoucement of a players only meeting that should have been called for after the San Diego game?  The coaches can't be watching over you every minute of every day making sure you're committed to being a pro and committed to getting better, that's on you.  What we have is a significant enough portion of the locker room, which probably includes the QB, just here collecting checks.  The next head coach needs to be a disciplinarian and not a players coach and we need to get some real vocal leaders on the roster as well because I don't see any right now.  I would say Telvin, Poz, Ngakoue and most of our WR corp could find starting jobs elsewhere in the league, but everyone else is just a guy (which is on Caldwell).  Ramsey is good but he needs to be humbled before he's going to be as great as he thinks he already is as he's already broadcast to the league how the opposing team should handle him or even be able to get rid of him altogether.  What a mess all the way around.
