Warriors, gladiators, soldiers; all nice nicknames for players but the bottom line is they are entertainers. Without an audience these guys are selling insurance or vacuum cleaners. When they cease to entertain they lose the audience. That's why losing doesn't sell tickets.
They are also entertainers with a contract so they will get paid whether they win or not. When the goal is no longer achievable they will naturally revert to other incentives. With 53 players you get 53 different motivations for the final games of the season. Regards................the Chiefjag |
