You have this idea that I'm taking this personally or something.  I'm not.  I'm not threatening to stop watching the games for the rest of the season. I'm not going to go out of my way to watch them, but since I already paid for NFL Sunday Ticket, I'll watch the Jags in the background even though I know the season is pretty much lost.  There are young players that I hope will develop and things like that.  

 

And yes, with revenue sharing, it is hard to not make money in the NFL.  

 

But the Jags have been losing consistently for the past 10 years.  They've developed a culture of losing and they aren't developing that winning tradition and loyalty of the next generation of Jags fans.  A lot of the message board posters are old-timers who are Jags fans from the beginning, when the Jags first came to Jacksonville.  

 

Sure, the owner can do what he wants.  I'm not arguing that.  But if you want to build your fanbase, sticking with the worst coach in modern NFL history may not be the best way to do it.  

I lived in Jax from 1990 to 2007...I was a season ticket holder until I moved up here to Pa. I am well aware of the saga of the Jags..Khan didn't make himself a multi billionaire by bowing down to outside pressure...His advisers and staff have many more years experience in the NFL than any of us...I would be a fool the think that myself or anyone on this board knows more about football than the Jags front office and anyone on this board who thinks they know more about running an nfl franchise is an idiot...I would venture to guess not a single poster on this board has ever even set foot in an NFL execs office, let alone make a decision for an nfl franchise, while the front office people have decades of experience in the nfl...Now that being said, no one is infallible, no one will never make mistakes, but my money is on decades of experience as opposed to arm chair GMs, coaches and execs...
