Also, by "giving up" on Bortles after three seasons that doesn't bode well for Caldwell because it affects him negatively. It undermines his player selection if a new head coach dictates a new quarterback. And that's without considering the need to sell everyone on trusting him and the new head coach to pick a new quarterback. If we are that point in giving up on Bortles, it shouldn't just be bye bye Bradley, it should be bye bye Caldwell as well.
 

I disagree. GMs miss on first round QBs more than they hit on them.  I don't see it as such a cardinal sin. Franchise QBs are incredibly hard to find. Why shouldn't a GM get two cracks at it?
