They are also known for the "bbq cloud." One end of the stadium is partly open and the tailgaters that set up on that end send smoke billowing into the stadium. If there's little wind, it will sometimes hang there for half of the first quarter. Fred Taylor has spoken of it being the most hostile atmosphere he played in.


Yeah Arrowhead is always outstanding in that respect, that's why I said Seattle with our record would not have anything like the "12th man". Chiefs have proven they have good atmosphere even with a losing football team.
