What would be "nice" is a fan appreciation event.  Have the players go sign autographs after practices, say how much they appreciate the fans showing up despite the poor performances on the field, do things to get the players/coaches/owner involved with the fans.  Offer up some kind of "raffle" where some lucky fan gets to watch the game from the owners box with Shad Khan or something.  

 

There are things the Jaguars could do that would show they "care" about how the fans have supported the team.  After all, Shad has admitted the fans have done their part, surely everyone realizes the Jags themselves have not held up their end of the bargain.  After another 4 year rebuild, this was "built" - and yet, here we are with another wasted season, no hopes for the playoffs, looking at a team in turmoil and another massive rebuild.  

 

The negative comments from the players and careless tweets from Tony Khan certainly don't help matters.  

 

It's time for the Jags organization to apologize and build some bridges instead of attacking the fan base.  

 

Of course - I'm going to watch the games regardless.  I get angry and say I won't, but I do anyway.  Too old to switch allegiances to another team and I'll die of old age before the Jags go to the playoffs.  But if the Jags organization wants to build that next generation of fans - they better change their strategy, because a decade of losing miserably and then calling the fans out and blaming them isn't the way you expand your fan base.
