So I have a 2008 dodge ram, quad cab with 139k miles on it. 4.7 V8.
So I'm riding down the interstate today...cruising around 65 mph and boom, my engine just shut off. I quickly looked down at my gauges and it looked to be running hot. I pulled over on the side of the interstate and popped the hood and oil was all over the side of the engine block. I recently had the oil changed at jiffy lube and watched them put the oil in and change the filter. Making sure it was tightened properly, etc. So I called a tow truck. And will have to look at it tomorrow during the daytime. (Was dark when I broke down). Any mechanics out there that can offer any advice. Thinking I blew the engine for some odd reason. Sucks man.
