I believe it's because the scheme is ran from the shotgun formation, so there is nowhere to put the fullback. The run game was pretty good today, so lets see if they can keep it up for the last eight games. Turnovers lost us this one.
Today it was but when you need a yard or 2 is when we have been horrid and it continued to day running a shotgun draw twice on 2nd and 1.   They do run single back under center and run the ball some plays so its not always shotgun.
