Bridgewater or Kirk Cousins

Quote:Schaub's best year was still textbook QB purgatory. Super Bowl talent roster that couldn't beat anyone except the also QB purgatorized Bengals and Andy Dalton in the playoffs because of Schaub. He's 1-1 in the playoffs. His loss was against Tom Brady. Yes, he isn't Tom Brady - but he's good enough to reach the playoffs and give your team a chance. And I think we might have all overrated the Texans a little bit, maybe they're not THAT good actually. Matt Schaub is about as good as you can realistically hope for when you trade for a QB. Teams aren't just going to trade away a QB in the Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees category. We Jaguars fans should know better than anyone how hard it is to find a half-way decent QB. Would you guys trade a 2nd round pick for a 25-26 year old David Garrard? I would in a heartbeat. We need to stop looking at just negatives and realize that what we have is much MUCH worse. If you can significantly upgrade the most important position on your team, for a 2nd round pick for example, then you do it. Even if that QB isn't perfect. I think it's a much better idea than drafting some inferior prospects in the 2nd or 3rd round because chances are, they aren't going to be as good as your Matt Schaubs of the world.
