Even if mccown has zero upside, benching kessler after seeing these numbers doesnt seem all that confusing. It just so happened that mccown is even worse
 

The benching did not sit well with me because when a team is down by 7 early in the third quarter, there is not reason to go into tank mode, especially on national TV against a divisional rival.
