You might be right. Probably should be patient and upgrade the console and tv when 4k content is more available and affordable.... but that's no fun.

 

It's really not all that different from upgrading a PC gaming system.  For example, if you built a PC with the PS4 Pro specs, you would have to spend over $600 (not including cost for windows).  That means the Pro is giving you some decent value.

I'm going to hold off on the 4k tv for now.. although best buy has some good deals right now for 4k tvs. Cheap brands like Toshiba have a 49" model for $199, or a 50 inch LG for $399.  How much lower can these prices get?
